KABUL: Eight individuals had been killed and 7 arrested following raids on hideouts of the Islamic State militant group in Afghanistan, a Taliban spokesperson mentioned on Thursday.
“These members had a most important function within the assault on the Chinese language lodge and paved the way in which for overseas ISKP members to come back to Afghanistan,” the spokesperson, Zabiullah Mujahid, mentioned on Twitter, describing Wednesday’s raids.
“A lot of weapons and explosives have fallen into the palms of the safety forces,” he added.
