KYIV: As many as 13,000 Ukrainian troops have been killed since Russia’s invasion in February, a senior adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated.
“We’ve official estimates from the Basic Workers… They usually vary from 10,000 … to 13,000 lifeless,” Mykhailo Podolyak instructed Ukraine’s Channel 24 on Thursday.
Zelenskyy would make the official knowledge public “when the correct second comes”, he added.
In June, as Russian forces battled to take full management of the easternmost Lugansk area, Zelenskyy stated Ukraine was dropping “60 to 100 troopers per day, killed in motion, and round 500 folks wounded in motion”.
Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu in September stated 5,937 Russian troops had been killed within the practically seven months of preventing to that time.
Either side are suspected of minimising their losses to keep away from damaging the morale of their troops.
