PARIS: French and Italian local weather activists on Friday had been blocking entrances to the Mont Blanc tunnel in Chamonix on the French facet and in Courmayeur on the Italian facet to boost consciousness about local weather change.
The motion that began at 1130 GMT was carried out by some 20 activists from Derniere Renovation (France) and Ultima Generazione (Italy), two sister organisations that belong to the A22 civil resistance motion, the joint assertion stated.
