ISLAMABAD: A suicide automobile bombing at a checkpoint in Pakistan’s capital of Islamabad on Friday killed one police official and injured a number of others, police stated.
“Our preliminary info says that there was a person and a lady within the automobile,” Islamabad operations police chief, Sohail Zafar, informed reporters, including that the automobile didn’t cease on the checkpoint when police tried to cease it.
“As they chased it, the individuals contained in the automobile blew it up.
“It was a suicide blast,” he stated, including that at the least six extra individuals who received injured.
