Six Pakistanis, one Afghan soldier killed in cross-border conflict


QUETTA: Six Pakistani civilians and one Afghan soldier have been killed on Sunday in cross border shelling and gunfire, in response to officers on either side of the frontier.
The Pakistan military stated Afghan border forces had opened “unprovoked and indiscriminate fireplace of heavy weapons together with artillery/mortar onto the civilian inhabitants” on the Chaman border crossing, which hyperlinks Pakistan’s western Balochistan province with Afghanistan‘s southern Kandahar province.
